4 Steps of Goal Setting: Part 2
Last time we talked about the first step in setting a goal: figuring out where you want to be. One way to do that is by thinking of different categories in your life (Family, Community, Faith, etc.) and how you want to be described by these categories.
Once you know who you want to be, it’s time to evaluate who you are now to determine how far you need to go to get there.
Watch this video to learn more about the second step to setting your goals.
Step 2: Analyze the gap - Where are you today compared to where you want to be?
You may realize that the person you are now is nowhere near the person you aspire to be. However, even if the gap is enormous, it’s completely normal and expected - so don’t let it dishearten you. Awareness is the first step to change - this is empowering!
We’ll be discussing how you can close that gap in the next step.
