When expired listings say that they aren’t interested or they’re taking it off the market, it usually means that they want to sell but they are discouraged so they’re rationalizing the situation. What we need to do is to re-energize their motivation by asking these questions:
What was it that made you want to sell six months ago?
How would that have benefited you and your family?
Now it will be easier for you to get into that re-listing conversation, then prequalify and set up an appointment!
